Monotony is never good, even if boredom can be good for you, sometimes. If you’re engaging in monotonous activities, then it’s a surefire way to breed slow passage of time. You can shake things up by changing your routine. Something as simple as rearranging your workspace or trying a new café for lunch can add novelty to your day, making it feel less like it’s dragging on.

3. Have Micro Goals

You can also try to break down your day into smaller tasks so that everything doesn’t seem daunting.
