Mental health is the emotional, psychological, and social well being of a person. It is required to be taken seriously and equally important as any other health issue. So how mental health is affected by the way we see and react to the world around us. Our media consumption has affected us in ways we do not notice. It is often seen that the media plays a significant part in portraying mental health negatively.  Since it not only adds to the social stigma but makes the people feel ashamed for facing mental health issues unnecessary.

Media is a robust tool for spreading communication, and this should not be used to spread misinformation. But now it is time we reject this kind of content and object people to such content. It is needed that we use the media to educate people with the right information. This will help people come forward and open up about their mental health issues.
