Psychopaths have a weird ability to camouflage along the rest of the world. Many of us deal with psychopathic abuse without even realizing who is the source of our misery. Psychopaths appear to be highly charming, trustworthy people who have loving relationships but honestly, it’s just a mask.

If you’ve ever known a psychopath you know precisely what I’m talking about. You can never tell what psychopaths do to look so perfect yet be flawed by all means. People who are psychopaths are always looking to manipulate people and take advantage of them.

You can never expect a friend or any genuineness out of a psychopath. Do psychopaths have feelings? Well, they do, they have feelings but they do not bat an eyelid before playing with someone else’s feelings.

We are all so fascinated by psychopaths, most of us enjoy watching movies about people who are psychopaths. But we forget how painful it might feel to be on the opposite side of a psychopath. Being manipulated and played feels so bad, imagine being manipulated by psychopaths (it’s double the pain).

Experts are still studying psychopaths and their traits. Many have claimed that the things that we know about psychopaths are just the tip of the iceberg. However, we should know at least they have been uncovered.

Let’s look at the known traits of people who are psychopaths;

Psychopaths are very clever and do weird things to get their way. However, it might work for them but the one on the receiving end is for sure not going to benefit from it. Therefore, it’s important to know the weird things psychopaths do.

Let’s have a look at them;

1. They measure their word before they speak:

psychopaths are very calculative, they will never just blabber words out of their mouths. They think a lot before speaking, and every word is measured so that their intentions are not clear but the result is in accordance with their intentions.

2. They have a flat body language:

since psychopaths experience shallow emotions it is not easy for them to have different body languages for different situations. However, they do put on false body language so that they can keep their deception on.

3. They use their charm as a weapon:

psychopaths come across as extremely charming because they use their charm to deceive people. They use their charm to manipulate people and trick them into doing things the psychopathic way.

4. They take advantage of people for their benefit:

psychopaths do not think twice because using people for their benefit. They are so selfish; they look at other people as objects who they can use to reach their goals.

5. Loyalty is not in their dictionary:

one of the weird things psychopaths do is show their loyalty only till the time the other person is benefiting them. Once you’re value drops in their eyes, the loyalty vanishes and they drop you like a hot potato!

6. Psychopaths lie like it’s no big deal:

anyone can lie but you want to what’s weird when a psychopath does it? They lie so well that it’s almost impossible to catch them. This is because they don’t have emotions so they can lie like it’s nobody’s business.

7. Being fake is their middle name:

there are a lot of weird things psychopaths do but being fake is what they excel in. They can be fake even while sleeping. They are like cabbage; you need to unfold many fake layers before you can uncover their true self.

8. They engage in gaslighting a lot:

psychopaths have a weird ability to manipulate and gaslight anyone for no reason. They can easily make others doubt their sanity and drive them insane. They enjoy this kind of emotional abuse.

9. Love bombing is their pet peeve:

psychopaths tend to shower their partner with a lot of love and affection and say all the right things but only for a short period. Many people can sense something’s wrong but their charm and manipulation can trick you easily.

10. They are very particular about their needs:

people who are psychopaths do not compromise on their needs. They are obsessed with their basic needs and want them fulfilled by hook or by crook.

11. They exploit innocent and kind people:

psychopaths take time to identify kind, innocent, and empathetic people and exploit them completely just for their selfish agendas.

12. They can be calm in extremely stressful situations:

it is so weird but true that psychopaths can keep their calm when they are in a sinking boat. Perhaps it is because they believe they can never lose and always have a crooked way to escape.
