Expressing our emotions in a healthy way is the best way to relieve the pain of emotional stuck. But for the same, realizing and accepting the feelings is where we start the process.

Step 1: Become Self-Aware

Mindfulness is the key to step up and become self aware of your hidden emotions. The first goal is to recognize how these emotions are making your body and mind feel without judging them.

In fact, the technique called R.A.I.N. (Recognize, Accept, Investigate and Non-identification) directly speaks on the same line. Sit in a comfortable position with eyes closed and let the body feel your surroundings. Take a few deep breaths and find out if:

Whatever be it, express yourself however you want to. Your goal with this step is to free yourself from poisonous emotions holding you back.

As An Author, How Did I Heal Myself?

After running through highs and lows without realizing my direction, I decided to take a break for a few days. This was in 2018 when I had nothing on the top of my head and everything was scattered including my career, relationships and mental stress. Things took a better turn when I stopped messing with myself, took a break for a month and repeated all the 3 steps above one by one.

Luckily, I found better opportunities around me as soon as I regained myself back in the right zone. I then understood that healing is an important process and releasing stuck emotions from the body is a crucial task.

I made sure that I avoid toxic people in my life and put myself as the priority. Slowly, the confidence was back and all the negative feelings were out of my life. Yes, emotions like fear, anger, guilt or regret sometimes show up but I know how to fight against them today.
